Abstract: This study aims to develop an analysis of the transformation of Japan's foreign policy and its image in the international community, from the end of the Second World War to the year of 2022, highlighting the key role that soft power strategies played during this process. This is an analysis of the radical transformation of Japan's image, from a great military power to one of the greatest cultural exporters of today’s world, highly known for its diplomacy and cooperation tactics, and which was able to regain its space in the international system through, predominantly , soft power tactics. In this analysis, a special focus is also made on the use of soft power strategies through cultural promotion actions, and how Japan uses its high cultural popularity as a political manoeuvre and influence tool, to expand its image in the international community.

Abstract: Commodities play an increasingly crucial role in the Brazilian economy, consolidating agribusiness as an essential pillar of growth. China's economic advancement has boosted the commercialization of Brazilian basic products, given its demand for commodities. In this context, this study investigates the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the exports of Brazil's main agricultural commodities to China. Initially, it explores the theories of international trade and Brazil-China relations, covering the liberal and nationalist theoretical approaches, the comparative advantages of bilateral trade, and the application of the Heckscher-Ohlin theorem in the relationship between those countries. The work also seeks to analyze and understand commercial history, from agreements at the end of the 19th century to the growing commercial deepening between the nations in the 21st century. Subsequently, it analyzes the impacts of the pandemic on Brazilian agribusiness and exports to China, emphasizing soybeans, sugarcane, cotton, and meats, as beef, pork, and poultry. The study provides a comprehensive view of the relationship between those countries during global economic changes, enriching the understanding of these scenarios.

Abstract: The objective of this study is to conduct an analysis regarding mental health as an unfolding of a fundamental right, based on the creation of public policies derived from the Development Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals. It is important to highlight that the path of the struggle for mental health is marked by an idea of isolation and prejudice. To this end, searches were conducted in the Scielo and Google Scholar databases, using terms related to mental health, human rights, UN, and SDGs, as well as their respective variables in foreign languages. The preliminary results indicate that there is no sustainable development without mental health, and the United Nations (UN), in implementing the Agenda 2030, recognized that the individual's psychological well-being is of paramount importance for a more comprehensive, healthy, and prosperous future. To achieve this, since 2015, the organization has prioritized voluntary work to achieve the proposed objectives. Thus, the application of public development policies is envisaged through initiatives and voluntary actions aimed at contributing to the strategic actions of the Global Pact.

Abstract: The present work seeks, through a review of the literature on the Japanese developmental process, analysis of government documents, and articles on Industry 4.0, to understand how the late development of the Japanese industry occurred and its subsequent success in industrial restructuring after World War II. From the understanding of how the State interacts with industrial policies, an attempt will be made to comprehend the tools employed in this process and how they are being used in this new era of development referred to as the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It will be presented how the Japanese government led the efforts in industrializing the country and how it currently strives to develop within Industry 4.0, along with the ideals accompanying this new period. To achieve this, an analysis of Toyota will also be conducted, a Japanese company that stands as the world's largest car manufacturer, highlighting its role in the pursuit of new technologies and its integration with Industry 4.0 innovations, providing a glimpse of its history and its main achievements in the present day.
