Abstract: The history and culture of Africa and Afro-Brazilian heritage have shaped Brazilian society in various aspects, including science. However, despite exerting this strong influence on Brazilian identity, Black people continue to face deeply rooted racial prejudice. It is crucial to work towards an anti-racist education that values Afro-diasporic history and culture. In this context, the present study was developed with the aim of demonstrating the integration of Afro-Brazilian history and culture into the teaching of soap chemistry, coupled with the context of ash soap in African-derived religions, in accordance with Law 10.639/2003, which makes it mandatory to incorporate this theme into all subjects and curriculum components of Basic Education. The activity was carried out in three classes of the Curricular Unit "Handmade or Industrial? Sustainable production of soaps and other products," with an average of 38 students from the second and third years of high school. The research aimed to investigate the influence of incorporating Afro-diasporic culture through coast soap in African-derived religions on the assimilation of chemical concepts such as surface tension, polarity, and saponification. In this context, an instrument for creating connections between the historical-cultural context and scientific knowledge was used, the Concept Maps (CM) developed by researcher Joseph Novak. Thus, a didactic sequence of six lessons was implemented, with four of them being addressed in this study. These included the development of an initial CM constructed by the students, a discussion session with a guest, an interactive lecture on the chemical concepts of ash soap, and the construction of a final CM that integrated all the content covered. For data analysis, Content Analysis (CA) was employed. During CA, four a priori categories and two posteriori subcategories were created to separate the constructed concept maps. It was observed that through these concept maps, students were able to create connections between the AfroBrazilian historical and cultural context and the chemical concepts studied, as evidenced by the relationships established in the concept maps. Furthermore, it was noted that the discussion session with a guest from the Black community, a Chemistry student and a member of Africanderived religions, contributed to students' identification with this context and strengthened education focused on citizenship formation. This approach aimed to mitigate the prejudices experienced by the Black community and to value their history and culture, which contribute to the Brazilian identity. In this perspective, the importance of implementing Law 10.639/2003 in all educational areas, especially in the fields of Exact and Natural Sciences, was reinforced to establish an education that encourages questioning, dialogue, reflection, and, above all, antiracism.; La historia y cultura africana y afrobrasileña han moldeado la sociedad brasileña en diversos aspectos, incluida la ciencia. Sin embargo, a pesar de esta fuerte influencia en la identidad brasileña, las personas negras todavía enfrentan el arraigado prejuicio racial, por lo que es fundamental trabajar en una educación antirracista que valore la historia y cultura afrodiaspórica. En este contexto, este trabajo se desarrolló con el objetivo de demostrar la inclusión de la historia y cultura afrobrasileña en la enseñanza de la química del jabón, vinculada al contexto del jabón deceniza en las religiones de matriz africana, en cumplimiento de la Ley 10.639/2003, que exige la inclusión de este tema en todas las disciplinas y componentes curriculares de la Educación Básica. La actividad se llevó a cabo en tres grupos de la Unidad Curricular "Artesanal o Industrial? Producción sostenible de jabones y otros productos", con un promedio de 38 estudiantes de segundo y tercer año de Educación Secundaria. La investigación tenía como objetivo investigar la influencia de la inclusión de la cultura afrodiáspora a través del jabón de costa en las religiones de matriz africana en la asimilación de conceptos químicos como la tensión superficial, la polaridad y la reacción de saponificación. En este contexto, se utilizaron Mapas Conceptuales desarrollados por el investigador Joseph Novak como una herramienta para establecer conexiones entre el contexto histórico-cultural y el conocimiento científico. Se aplicó una secuencia didáctica de seis clases, de las cuales cuatro se abordan en este trabajo. Estas incluyeron la elaboración de un Mapa Conceptual inicial construido por los estudiantes, una mesa redonda con una invitada de la comunidad negra, estudiante de Química e integrante de religiones de matriz africana, una clase expositiva y dialogada sobre los conceptos químicos del jabón de ceniza y la construcción de un Mapa Conceptual final que unía todo lo trabajado. Para el análisis de datos, se utilizó el Análisis de Contenido (AC), que dio como resultado cuatro categorías a priori y dos subcategorías a posteriori para clasificar los mapas creados. Se observó que a través de los Mapas Conceptuales, los estudiantes lograron establecer conexiones entre el contexto histórico y cultural afrobrasileño y los conceptos químicos trabajados, como se evidencia en las relaciones establecidas en los Mapas Conceptuales. Además, se notó que la realización de una mesa redonda con una invitada de la comunidad negra, que además es estudiante de Química e integrante de religiones de matriz africana, contribuyó a la identificación de los estudiantes con este contexto y fortaleció una educación orientada hacia la formación ciudadana, con el objetivo de mitigar los prejuicios experimentados por la comunidad negra y valorar su historia y cultura, que contribuyen a la identidad brasileña. En este sentido, se resaltó la importancia de aplicar la Ley 10.639/2003 en todos los ámbitos educativos, especialmente en las áreas de Ciencias Exactas y de la Naturaleza, para promover una educación cuestionadora, dialogante, reflexiva y, sobre todo, antirracista.

Abstract: Making forecasts in the financial market can bring huge gains for institutions, governments, in vestors, among others. However, it is not a trivial task, due to the chaotic and unpredictable nature of the financial market. Several approaches have already been studied in order to achieve satisfactory results, such as machine learning and neural networks Long Short-Term Memory networks (LSTM) due to their effectiveness working with time series. In this work, our proposal is to use an LSTM neural network and from the closing price using renko chart, and perform the bullish or bearish forecast for the next market movement. Results show that our proposal presents satisfactory results compared to the traditional Buy and Hold technique.

Ways to increase the quality of forecasting a high or low in the financial market is one of the main goals pursued by those who wish to achieve some success in their investments. Techniques using artificial intelligence and mathematical models in the field of quantitative trader are currently the most efficient ways to achieve satisfactory results. In this work, studies referring to the quantitative trader related to the direction of the Linear Regression and its efficiency in the financial market will be presented.
