Abstract: The law 11.645/2008 proclaimed to respond to the desires and demands of the hundreds of indigenous ethnic groups existing in Brazil, carries with it an achievement arising from the advances and struggles of indigenous movements by claiming that non-indigenous society would come to know the ethnic, historical and cultural diversity of the original peoples, to deconstruct the stereotyped and prejudiced image that pervades the imagination of the Brazilian population. The Law makes it mandatory to teach History and Culture of indigenous peoples in Basic Education, in public and private schools throughout the national territory, opening a range of possibilities and challenges to be faced in the teaching of History. The obligation to promote the inclusion of indigenous themes brings ethnic-racial relations to the agenda to go beyond commemorative dates. This agenda arises from the aspect that Brazilian indigenous Histories have been marginalized, with a history focused on the European perspective standing out in textbooks. It is significant to discuss these relationships, bringing up the subject of prejudice, racism and denial that prevents dialogue with the Other. Considering the objectivity of the law, this thesis analyzes the didactic collections of the Araribá História Project, approved by the PNLD for the curricular component of History 2008 to 2010, PNLD 2011 to 2013, PNLD 2014 to 2016, and PNLD 2017 to 2019, destined for the Final Years Elementary School, used by teachers and students in state schools in the city of Sete Quedas, MS. The analysis takes place from the decolonial theory, in the direction of investigating how the process of inclusion or exclusion of the indigenous theme happens in these teaching spaces. I highlight the Sombrerito village of the Guarani Ñandeva, present in the municipality of Sete Quedas, MS, however, not (re)known by most students, teachers, and managers in the investigated educational institutions. The field of teaching in History needs the curriculum’s decolonization, a unique and universal thought impregnated with stereotypes, since practices that reproduce the romantic vision of the indigenous in the past and do not present the present time indigenous History that needs to be addressed and discussed in history classes. In this approach, the curriculum’s decolonization demands that historical events be narrated from the point of view of the other. This view differs from the unique western model and allows the development of critical thinking coming from native peoples.

Abstract: This thesis analyzes the representations of the bandit Antonio Silvino built in Recife-PE, in the first two decades of the 20th century, intertwining readings of time related to the young Republic. In the same space and time – the capital of Pernambuco, between 1900 and 1918 –, views towards the Republic were exposed from the figure of a subject who lived from the practice of crimes in the hinterland of Pernambuco and neighboring states. In order to carry out the analysis of the multiple voices, we took as object the representations built in the periodical press – the newspapers Diário de Pernambuco and A Província – and in literature – the work of the poet Leandro Gomes de Barros. Different supports, with their specificities, based on experiences and expectations in relation to the current political regime, will build interpretations of the real having the cangaceiro Antonio Silvino as a motto. Evidently, these different “looks” at the cangaço, which end up building the usual dual vision based on good/bad-good/evil, are representations of this social phenomenon and, as such, make it possible to see the sociabilities of those who produce and consume them in a different way. a certain way of thinking and giving a reading of a certain reality. In this sense, periodicals of diametrically opposed political positions are analyzed, linked or contrary to the dominant state oligarchy, and the deliberate use of the figure of the cangaceiro Antonio Silvino by them as a weapon in state political disputes; in the same way, the literature of Leandro Gomes de Barros is analyzed and the use of the cangaceiro as an archetype of ideal man, nostalgic monarchist and representative of a moral code in the process of disappearing in the face of modernization proclaimed by the Republic. In view of this broad framework of investigation, we sought to understand these multiple views of the republican regime, having the bandit Antonio Silvino as a background character. We defend the thesis, at the end, that the experiences and expectations related to the Republic of the producers of representations of the cangaceiro Antonio Silvino built these multiple visions about the same object.

Abstract: The thesis caracterizes as a case study of an educational curriculum called Integrated Curriculum, of the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul, focusing especially the Curricular Unit History, in five campus - Aquidauana, Corumbá, Dourados, Naviraí e Nova Andradina - who offer the Integrated Middle Level Technical Course in Informatics or Informatics for the Internet. So that it was possible to enter the object, bibliographic review was necessary, as well as, knowledge of the legislation, regulations and guidelines that guide the modality of Professional Education, besides to constituting two Course Plans as a source of research, implemented at two moments in the institution's history in Mato Grosso do Sul. As a result of the analysis of these and other institutional documents, such as Institutional Development Plan, Statute of the IFMS, and Pedagogical Guidelines, get as a point of arrival an analysis who took advantage of the comparative methodology between two syllabuses of the Curriculum Program of the discipline of History, whose the temporal distance between one and the other is a decade. In weaving of this thesis, some semi-structured interviews were carried out, being the first with a teacher trainer from the Rede Federal, which elucidated relevant aspects of the construction and experience of a curriculum that is intended to be integrated. Subsequently, five History teachers, one from each campus, were interviewed through digital platforms, more coherent option given the Covid-19 pandemic context. A year before these interviews, the teachers collaborated with the acceptance to answer an exploratory questionnaire, whom provided preliminary information about their history teaching practices. The dialogue with the field of Education was an elementary factor to make historiographical, especially through the contributions of theorists who discuss the curricular field. In this frontier place, I do an analysis, on the one hand, regulations, prescriptions (oftentimes of instrumental rationality) and curricular trends for professional education, and, on the other side, the sense of History Didactics in technical school education, whose essential character is the pretension of an emancipatory humanist formation. To support the second frontier margin, it is reaffirmed that exchanges, dialogues and recognition of difference are conditions for understanding the Teaching of History as a frontier place. By analyzing and comparing the History course syllabuses in the two Pedagogical Projects studied, possible advances are indicated towards a History Teaching closer to the students' social reality, permeated by cultural differences that, without any doubt, when debated within the curriculum can effectively contribute to a critical and emancipatory citizen formation. In the final part of the thesis, based on the most recent researches by Jörn Rüsen, a proposal from the field of Theory of History, the New Humanism, is indicated, as a theoretical and didactic bet, in the context of History Teaching, for a intercultural mediation, and for the possibility of school subjects to understand their social place in an increasingly globalized historical context.

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the Street Fair of Dourados, that was created in 1948 as a strategy to supply the residents of the city, to commercialize the produce of the farmers of the National Agriculture Colony of Dourados (CAND) and the Municipal Agriculture Colony of Dourados (CMD), it was also used as an strategy for collecting taxes for the city. The installation of the colonies, the different migration processes and the ideas of progress and modernity about Dourados are related and favored the project to create the street fair. Over the decades, this fair was installed in several places in the city, having remained for the longest (36 years) on Cuiabá street. The objective of the thesis was to present and analyze the Street Fair of Dourados and its relationship with the city. The analyzed aspects permeated the themes: its origin in the historical context of the agricultural colonies; the spaces occupied in the city in face of the urban planning actions of the different municipal public administrations; the fair as a cultural heritage of the municipality and, finally, the sociability diversity present in this multicultural scenario. Parallelly, the perceptions of the different social subjects linked to the fair are presented and problematized in the perspectives of power relations; in the social practices among market vendors, consumers and surrounding residents; in the multiculturalism present in the physical and symbolic environment of the street and in the countless changes through the decades – at the fair and in the city. Among the conclusions, it was possible to perceive the role of the local press that positioned itself at the problems presented, sometimes praising, sometimes demanding from the public administrations, measures of organization, supervision and structural adequacy of the fair. In addition, the sources showed that the elements of progress and modernity were used, recurrently, to support the proposals to change the location of the fair. Regarding patrimonialization, it was possible to verify the inconsistencies and inadequacies related to the process to make it a Heritage Site as a protective instrument, also, the weaknesses of the patrimonial policy applied in Dourados. The fair was also analyzed and problematized as a place for sociability and popular actions in various diverse aspects: it was used and instrumentalized politically, made possible as a solidary and legitimated citizen environment, within the scope of freedom of expression. Given the above, it is possible to assure that the history of the Stree Fair of Dourados gets confused, complements and represents, to some extent, part of the history of Dourados. As a source for this research it was used; official documents from several public institutions, local press sources, mainly represented by the newspapers O Progresso, O Douradense and folha de dourados interviews and memorial sources.
