Abstract: This dissertation examines the reception of Friedrich Nietzsche’s (1844-1900) philosophy by Oswald de Andrade (1890-1954), focusing on the first formulation of Anthropophagy between 1928 and 1929. The central objective is to understand how ideas, themes, and attitudes associated with Nietzschean thought circulated, were appropriated—or rather, devoured—within modernist sociabilities, particularly through the Revista de Antropofagia, the primary source of this study. It is based on the notion of reception as an active and inventive practice, subject to diversions and displacements, as well as reading as a form of &#xD;
creation, as discussed by Roger Chartier. Methodologically, the dissertation articulates, alongside Chartier, contributions from Michel de Certeau, Quentin Skinner, and Jean-François Sirinelli, specifically regarding the notions of sociability, intellectual itinerary, circulation of ideas, and text as a speech act. To delineate Oswaldian sociabilities, his autobiography and two biographies are used as sources, approached through the discussions of François Dosse. Consequently, the study outlines Oswald de Andrade’s intellectual itinerary and the sociabilities relevant to his intellectual formation, through which he came into contact with Nietzsche's philosophy. The Revista de Antropofagia is analyzed as an intellectual microcosm in which aesthetic, political, and moral clashes characteristic of the “modernist climate,” in Peter Gay’s terms, are manifested. It is observed that Oswald de Andrade read and &#xD;
appropriated Nietzschean philosophy both for his artistic formulations and for his self-constitution as a persona whose creative engine was rooted in conflict. Oswaldian Anthropophagy, according to this research’s interpretation, emerges from the confrontations and debates that the modernist engaged in with the Verde-Amarelo group. This study analyzes the presence of Nietzsche's philosophy in the Revista de Antropofagia, particularly in texts that debated and challenged religious morality. By prioritizing the first phase of Anthropophagy, this research seeks to contribute to studies on the reception of Nietzsche’s thought in Brazil, a topic still under-explored within the field of History.

      <title>Destruidores e criadores: totalitarismo e liberdade em V for Vendetta</title>

      <description>Título: Destruidores e criadores: totalitarismo e liberdade em V for Vendetta

Abstract: This dissertation aims to analyze the graphic novel V for Vendetta (titled V de Vingança in Brazilian Portuguese), published between 1982 and 1989 by British authors Alan Moore and David Lloyd. The work is situated within the context of the 1980s, a decade marked internationally by the continuation of the Cold War and fears of a still possible nuclear conflict, and, domestically within the United Kingdom, by political and social transformations resulting from the implementation of neoliberal policies under the government of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. The research seeks to problematize how the concepts of totalitarianism and freedom are represented and challenged throughout the narrative, and how these elements are directly connected to the political and social context of the time, as well as to the worldview of its authors—especially that of scriptwriter Alan Moore, who positioned himself strongly as a &#xD;
critical voice against the British government then in power. The analysis also encompasses the setting and the construction of the characters featured in the work, along with the ideals they represent. To achieve this analysis, the study seeks to understand the influence of the Cold War on the production of comic books, with an emphasis on the United States, highlighting the challenges and transformations that impacted the industry up to the 1980s. Furthermore, it examines the development of the British comics industry, which presented peculiarities in comparison to its American counterpart, and which is directly connected to the professional trajectories of Alan Moore and David Lloyd prior to their collaboration on V for Vendetta. It is worth noting that, as both a source and object of this research, V for Vendetta was analyzed in its entirety, taking into consideration the sketches and inspirations, in addition to the plot and narrative, which are divided into three volumes. The research is also based on books, academic articles, and interviews given by the authors, which provide valuable insights for a deeper &#xD;
understanding of the representations of totalitarianism and freedom present in the work. Finally, this dissertation aims to contribute to the expansion of methodological approaches regarding the use of comic books as legitimate sources and objects of historical research, as well as to support studies focused on understanding the effects of the international context of the Cold War and the internal tensions experienced in the United Kingdom during that period.

      <title>Estão falando de nós? o (des)pertencimento negro LGBTI+ e sua compreensão nas políticas públicas de Mato Grosso do Sul</title>

      <description>Título: Estão falando de nós? o (des)pertencimento negro LGBTI+ e sua compreensão nas políticas públicas de Mato Grosso do Sul

Abstract: This research analyzes, from a historiographical and interdisciplinary perspective, the limits and contradictions of public policies aimed at the black LGBTI+ population in Mato Grosso do Sul, focusing on the Mapa da População LGBT+ Vulnerável (Map of the Vulnerable LGBT+ Population), prepared by the State and published in 2023. More than a technical instrument of social diagnosis, the MAPA is understood as a discursive artifact that materializes the ways in which public power names, classifies, and manages certain populations. While denouncing high rates of violence, the document also reveals structural silences by failing to fully incorporate racial, territorial, and socioeconomic markers, confirming that invisibility is a constitutive part of the state narrative. Although Mato Grosso do Sul ranks among the Brazilian states with the largest number of regulations directed at the LGBTI+ population and has one of the highest proportions of this population in the country, the racial dimension remains marginalized or &#xD;
treated in a fragmented way. The deliberations analyzed from the reports of the II (2011) and III (2016) National Conferences on LGBTI+ Public Policies reinforce this diagnosis, since, although they constitute democratic spaces of participation, they prove insufficient to ensure effective representation of the historical experiences of the black LGBTI+ population, reproducing hierarchies among social markers. The study engages with authors from history, law, sociology, gender studies, critical theory, and black thought, articulating concepts such as intersectionality, biopolitics, state of exception, recognition, and escrevivência. This articulation makes it possible to understand how different intellectual traditions converge to show that violence against the black LGBTI+ population is not a deviation or anomaly, but a &#xD;
structural product of the ways in which the State manages life, belonging, and citizenship. Historically, such practices of differential management of existence have been reproduced at different moments, revealing continuities between policies of invisibilization and mechanisms of precarization. By failing to fully recognize these subjects as rights-bearing citizens, public policies reinforce a logic that naturalizes inequalities and legitimizes social hierarchies. In this trajectory, the MAPA can be read not only as statistics, but as part of a documentary tradition that reveals both the advances and the limits of state action. Transforming statistics into memory, memory into denunciation, and denunciation into collective action means expanding the reach of the MAPA beyond technique, turning it into a living testimony of social plurality and a critical instrument in the struggle for recognition and justice. Thus, the document is &#xD;
inscribed in a broader narrative about the relationship between the State and historically marginalized populations. It demonstrates that the production of data is not neutral, but traversed by political and epistemological disputes. When appropriated as collective memory, the MAPA can contribute to the construction of new research agendas and social mobilization, connecting local experiences to national and global struggles for rights. In this way, the study reaffirms that understanding the limits and contradictions of public policies requires not only technical analysis, but also a historical and critical reading of the ways in which the State administers lives and recognizes citizenships.

      <title>Assim falou Emília: a recepção da filosofia de Nietzsche no Sítio do Picapau Amarelo de Monteiro Lobato (1920-1944)</title>

Abstract: This dissertation investigates and interprets the reception of Friedrich Nietzsche's philosophy in Monteiro Lobato's work Sítio do Picapau Amarelo, focusing on the character Emília. The study analyzes how the Brazilian writer appropriated Nietzschean thought to construct the authentic, combative, and creative intellectual posture that marked his life and work. The research adopts the approaches of Intellectual History by Quentin Skinner, Reception Aesthetics by Hans Robert Jauss, and the History of Intellectuals by Jean-François Sirinelli. These frameworks are articulated based on Michel de Certeau’s and Roger Chartier’s conception of reception as a plural, interpretative, and meaning-multiplying reading. The methodological path traces Lobato's itineraries, struggles, and networks of intellectual &#xD;
sociabilities, as well as analyzing his reading of Nietzsche and the writing of his literature within a historical context. The main sources comprise the twenty-three books of Lobato's children's literature, published between 1920 and 1944, and the letters collected in the book A barca de Gleyre. The study examines the appropriation of Nietzschean thought by the writer and finds that Nietzsche encouraged Lobato toward independence and the creation of the self as an exception, based on self-reliance and the will to follow only himself. The analysis demonstrates that Sítio do Picapau Amarelo is configured as an enchanted space of experimentation and freedom, considering the child as an agent of their own processes of knowledge, creation, thought, and imagination. The work verifies that the writer incorporated the Nietzschean perspective that breaks with the child versus adult dichotomy. It is concluded that Emília personifies Nietzsche's philosophy, appropriated with intellectual and emotional &#xD;
involvement by the writer. In the body of Lobato's rag doll are woven the fabrics of ludic games, play, and the philosophical allegory of the eternal child, in the mold of Nietzsche's elaboration. Among the characteristics present in Emília's patches, insubordination, self-affirmation, critical authenticity, and fidelity to oneself stand out, revealing her as a free spirit. The aroma of the innocence of becoming can also be sensed through the yellow macela flowers that fill the doll's body. The human-doll personifies the interplay between the two dimensions of Nietzsche's philosophy: the combative and the constructive. The doll presents herself as both lion and child. She creates new values while breaking old ones. Emília—our Child Zarathustra!
