A Interculturalidade como mecanismo de integração de imigrantes venezuelanos em Dourados – MS

Abstract

This dissertation aims to analyze social integration from the perspective of the intercultural of migrants and refugees in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, demonstrating how this process occurs for groups of Venezuelans, in addition to analyzing what are the possible motivating causes of migration. It is also presented on the international actors related to the integration processes and also on the legislation referring to migration in Brazil, consisting of an interdisciplinary research, from the perspective of International Relations and Law. For that, qualitative and historical deductive methods were used and an exploratory research divided in two parts was carried out. In the first, a direct and indirect bibliographic and documentary reference research was carried out, and in the second, the data referring to the legal normative set aimed at ensuring the protection of the human rights of migrants and refugees and the peculiarities of the referred groups of immigrants was contrasted. the analysis of terms referring to culture, culture shock and intercultural in order to understand what are the cultural and social peculiarities that make it possible to create an effective intercultural social integration system that causes less impact on migrants. Finally, it was concluded that it is possible to apply intercultural to promote social integration.
