Rússia, Ucrânia e o Ocidente: Ucrânia sob disputa e a questão da liderança regional

Abstract

This research proposed to carry out an analysis on Russia's relationship with Ukraine empathizing how the West intervenes in this relationship, and how this is influenced by the Russian interest in the formulation of a multipolar International System. Therefore, concepts were sought to develop this analysis and to redesign the historical aspects of the constitution of the Russian State and the relations with the current Ukrainian territory and population. Then, the relations between Russia and the West with Eastern Europe, a region where Russia proposes itself as a regional leader, are superficially addressed. It was found that this region was under an influence dispute even before the existence of the State. Finally, a case study was carried out regarding Ukraine as an independent state. For that analysis, we bring up the relationship of the Ukrainian population and territory with Russia and the marks left by the USSR period. We also fulfill an analysis of the 6 Ukrainian governments since their independence and their relationship with Russia and the West. In that light, it is concluded that Ukraine is a key country in the balance of power in Eastern Europe for several reasons and Ukrainian foreign policy is greatly affected by the disputed relationship between Russia and the West. Also, it is clear the central role of the conception of nation and nationality for the current disputes and the possibility of interference in Ukrainian politics. In addition, an analysis is made on Russian and American interests in maintaining regional leadership or its impossibility in the Eastern European region.

В разработанном исследовании предлагалось провести анализ отношений России с Украиной с акцентом на то, как Запад вмешивается в эти отношения, и как на это влияет заинтересованность России в формировании многополярной Международной Системы. Для этого были найдены концепции, помогающие в этом анализе и переосмыслении исторических аспектов конституции Российского государства и отношений с нынешней украинской территорией и населением. Затем поверхностно рассматриваются отношения России и Запада с Восточной Европой, регионом, в котором Россия выступает в качестве регионального лидера. Выяснилось, что этот регион находился под спорным влиянием еще до существования государства. Наконец, было проведено тематическое исследование Украины как независимого государства. Для этого восстанавливаем связь украинского населения и территории с Россией и следы, оставленные периодом СССР. Мы также провели анализ шести украинских правительств с момента обретения независимости и их отношений с Россией и Западом. Учитывая это, делается вывод, что Украина является ключевой страной в балансе сил в Восточной Европе по ряду причин, и на украинскую внешнюю политику большое влияние оказывают спорные отношения между Россией и Западом. Также очевидна центральная роль концепции нации и национальности для текущих споров и возможность вмешательства в украинскую политику. Кроме того, проводится анализ российской и американской заинтересованности в сохранении регионального лидерства или его невозможности в восточноевропейском регионе.
