A Relação família-escola na perspectiva das famílias

Abstract

This research had for objective analyse how happens the involvement of the parents in school life of your children and their relationship with the school, taking as its starting point the speech of families. Considering that many studies show the theme, but always having the principal prospects of the school, our main objective is to give a voice to families and thereafter make considerations about this family-school relationship. This is a research with qualitative and quantitative approach, based in theoretical as Bourdieu, Giddens, among others, who dicuss that the concept of the educational institution and family. Done in Navirai city, Mato Grosso do Sul state, the research show presents data on families and school, based on the literature and documents, statistical data, and information obtained by means questionnaires and interviews with the parents. The participants were heard and from his speeches we measure the family-school relationship, concluding that it is a very delicate relationship, in which the individuals involved need to review their roles and assume their social functions effectively. Here we present the conclusions reached in the hope that this research will contribute to that relationship is a partnership with the sole focus of the teaching-learning process.
