No arquivo do professor José Pereira Lins: uma leitura entre vida e obra

Abstract

The objective of this dissertation is to produce a "reading" in the archive related to the life and work of Professor José Pereira Lins, analyzing the production of knowing and knowledge and to elaborate a critical-theoretical reflection derived from the confrontation of the sources of this archive. Professor, citizen, writer and man of letters, whose name became emblematic and one of the most representative for the real understanding of the history and regional culture in the State of Mato Grosso do Sul, in 2004, his name was given to the Faculty of Communication, Arts and Letters (FACALE) Of the Federal University of Grande Dourados, and in 2009, his library, with more than eight thousand titles, was acquired by the same University. It is considered that, by the life trajectory, (bio) bibliography, collection, archive and other related concepts been studied as perspectives of critical-theoretical analysis, or as aspects of cultural criticism, which contribute to the knowledge of the object of this study. Thus, the interest in the figure of Professor Lins arouses innumerable aspects related to his biography, which gained relevance not only in this dissertation, but also in the space-time in which it is produced. For this investigation, therefore, it is analyzed the seminal studies of DERRIDA (2001), de SOUZA (2003; 2011), GARRAMUÑO (2011), PIZARRO (2009) and ROCCA (2009). The justification of this study results from the coexistence with the writer's estate, bringing to light new aspects for the type of approach and signaling for the broader focus of the research. Still, the research brought discoveries, through documents, interviews, and in the multiple actions that this teacher exerted in the State showed the importance and the "knowledge of the archives" for the studies from the cultural-historical perspective.
