As Contribuições da educação física adaptada para o deficiente físico no contexto escolar

Abstract

This research aimed to: Investigate the contributions of Adapted Physical Education to the physically handicapped student in the school context and as specific objectives: To understand concepts and characteristics of physical disability; Know the origin and the proposals of Adapted Physical Education; To analyze the contributions of Adapted Physical Education to the student with physical disability. From the bibliographical research, we sought to study the history, concepts and characteristics of the disability, as well as the proposals and the contributions of Adapted Physical Education for the physically handicapped. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the fact that Physical Education teachers reflect their practice by using Adapted Physical Education and benefiting from it in order to assist the physical, social and educational development of their students.
