Ta’anga ymã: perspectivismo, cosmopolítica, e imagens kaiowá e mbya: o convívio entre a visualidade e a não-visualidade

Abstract

The dissertation presented here aims to investigate the relationship between the Guarani-Mbya and Guarani-Kaiowá peoples with images (ta`anga), their connections with cosmologies and approaches to the systems and intellectual regimes of knowledge production. From the identification of the cosmopolitic agents imbricated in the realization and circulation of the images produced by these Guarani ethnic groups, we will map the networks of relations mobilized between the images and the human and nonhuman subjects, in order to better understand the notion of image in the Mbya and Kaiowá thought. In our hypothesis, the philosophical exercise of conceptualization of the image by the Guarani ethnic groups in question, could be identified in the networks of cosmopolitical relations that ontologically mark the elaboration of the concept. The interference of agents of the most varied orders on the image, and the image on them - angüere (evil spirits), angüe (beneficial spirits and/or reflexes), nheë (souls and/or words), propose interconnections between beings and substances, which could elucidate the understanding of image in the cosmological universe of these two peoples.
